We were asked by MTV Networks to create some shots for their take away concept. All shot from a food point of view. The take away animation replaced the food. Here are the results… animation and treatment by MTV Networks.

For this production we wanted a full HD cigar camera that shoots on a memory card with a nice slomo. Because the risk of breaking the thing was too high, we couldn’t use the ICONIX HD-RH1 since no one would insure it.

After searching around and doing some production tests we bought the Sony HDR-TG3. You can’t use the slomo, it’s really crap, but the images that come out of this camera stay really good when you put it on a moving object. If the impact is too big it sometimes loses the focus, when it’s on manual. But hey… can you handle 3G in less that 0.1sec 80 times a day =)

We were lucky with the weather the last two days, I even burned my nose =)
