Peejee was asked to shoot some moody images during the Scotch & Soda photoshoot for the new season. After some initial test shots with the Canon EOS 5D MarkII this was his first official shoot with the 5D. The Camera was perfect for the concept of this project: a touch of a dreamy holiday feeling with a shallow depth of field. This week the Scotch Shrunk 2010 video went online at the Scoth and Soda website

According to this teaser The Bataleon 2010 Remix Project will kick off this christmas. Daily rider parts remixed by circus from the orginal footage will be dropped all the way into 2010…

After checking all the footage the two main editors for this Remix Project got so stoked that they first went on a powder mission to Andermat and Davos, Switzerland instead of starting editing these riders parts. They scored tons of fresh pow and came back fully charged to start editing like machines. It’s almost done now but christmas is closer than we thought. So fingers crossed and keep an eye out for the Bataleon Vimeo channel to see if we will pull through.

Last night we did a presentation at Beamlab. We explained two projects, the Nike Football meeting in Milan and TMF Straathelden

Together with Harm from Onesize and Sil van de Woerd we represented motion graphics at Beamlab.

Just before summer started we had a roundup for a new intern here at Circus Family.
A lot of different enthusiastic candidates dropped by and showed us their work. Some with customized showreels, DVD boxes or projects that showed their love and devotion to the work they stand for. It was hard to make the decision…

The video in this post was created by our new intern Marlieke. A customized intro created for her showreel DVD when she dropped by for her first meeting. A very nice way of introducing yourself…
